At H5M, we're beary excited about the holiday season. In fact, we can bearly contain our excitement for our annual activities.
Our office is decorated for the season -- and some bears have joined in the fun. We hosted local friends & fans at our office for an over-sized holiday party last week that was pawsitively fun!
This season we've also partnered with Teddy Bears With Love, a national campaign run by Fairfield University (CT), that collects teddy bears for children who find themselves in hospitals during the holiday season. H5M is collecting bears on behalf of Children's National Hospital (Washington, DC) and their Bear's Closet program. Our goal is to collect 100 bears before the end of the year. (Want to donate? Give us a shout and we'll give you the details!)
Okay. We know: our puns are almost unbearable. So we'll stop now.
Happy Holidays from your friends at H5M!
Did you know Sanglier means "wild boar" in French? Sanglier Cellars took it's name in honor of these fiercely intelligent, brash and highly adaptable animals who are common in not just Sonoma County (Sanglier Cellars' home) but also in East Texas (where owners Glenn & Melissa Alexander are from) and France (their favorite foodie destination).
But this - and the story of Sanglier's commitment to the thoughtful and selective farming together with their passion for creating exceptionally food friendly wines -- was being lost in, frankly, boring (get it?) marketing. So Sanglier Cellars turned to H5M to help them tell their story.
We're in the process of introducing a brand new digital outreach program, including From Melissa's Kitchen, a food and wine pairing inspired franchise with recipes, menus, wine pairing notes, and ingredient-focused insights. We're also rolling out an update from Glenn & the viticulture team this spring.
We're full-boar into this tasty assignment and can't wait to see the results.
The team at H5M celebrated our annual holiday - 5/5 - in style this year! High five photo booths with oversized foam hands were fun, but the real fun was raising money for one of our favorite non-profit clients, Positive Coaching Alliance. For every high five we doled out, H5M donated $1 to PCA to help create "Better Athletes, Better People".
High fives all around!
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) is in the business of small college athletics. They operate as the governing body for intercollegiate athletics for some of the top small colleges in the United States, many of whom are committed to delivering a character-driven athletic experience. But as one of the most progressive governing bodies in college sports, the NAIA seeks to truly understand and support member institutions in their quest to realize the full potential of athletics on campus.
The NAIA turned to the team at H5M to help build a strategic plan that articulated their business-driven commitment to their member institutions and outlined the ways in which the NAIA could help drive that success. The result? A comprehensive platform that outlines the recruitment, retention, on-campus experience, financial and operational elements of a successful collegiate athletic program execution. H5M also helped identify programs that could help drive core metrics for both the Conference and their member institutions.
With the introduction of their brand new eSports conference, called NAC eSports, alongside recent innovations like the NAIA Showcase for student-athlete recruitment and Incred, the credential evaluation service, the NAIA continues to lead the way in helping colleges and universities succeed and thrive in collegiate athletics. We're proud to be part of the team!
NAIA and H5M: High fives all around!

The Content Marketing Awards, produced by the Content Marketing Institute, is the largest content marketing awards program on the planet
This year’s Content Marketing Awards include 76 categories recognizing all aspects of content marketing, from strategy to distribution, from design to editorial. A panel of all-star judges chose the “best of the best” in content marketing excellence from more than 1,300 entries.
