Did you know Sanglier means "wild boar" in French? Sanglier Cellars took it's name in honor of these fiercely intelligent, brash and highly adaptable animals who are common in not just Sonoma County (Sanglier Cellars' home) but also in East Texas (where owners Glenn & Melissa Alexander are from) and France (their favorite foodie destination).
But this - and the story of Sanglier's commitment to the thoughtful and selective farming together with their passion for creating exceptionally food friendly wines -- was being lost in, frankly, boring (get it?) marketing. So Sanglier Cellars turned to H5M to help them tell their story.
We're in the process of introducing a brand new digital outreach program, including From Melissa's Kitchen, a food and wine pairing inspired franchise with recipes, menus, wine pairing notes, and ingredient-focused insights. We're also rolling out an update from Glenn & the viticulture team this spring.
We're full-boar into this tasty assignment and can't wait to see the results.
